Hi and Merrie Meet,
I thought that it was about time that I officially "Came Out" about what is going on in the life of yours truly.
Those of you who already know please bear with me while I explain to the others.
Some time ago I was asked to put together a podcast for my coaching clients and others who may or may not have proved interested. The podcasts can be found at http://coachingradio.podbean.com
I was then asked by another friend who is a Pagan whether I could do a similar thing for the Pagan community and so Cauldron FM was born.
As time moves forward I was becoming increasingly keen to begin a move towards live broadcasting and building a branded radio station. Because of this I started to look at ways that this could be achieved without spending huge amounts of money (which I don't have) and I eventually stumbled over a site called Ustream - this site is great for broadcasting webcam images but it didn't fit the bill as a radio medium.
more research later and I came across the platform veetle.com and this is the current system we are using. It does have some stability issues but overall it does exactly what is required.
Anyway the next move forward is to build the cauldronfm website which will be populated with a player so that visitors can simply click on that and listen.
We have migrated to a new podcast site and that is http://cauldronfm.podomatic.com and that takes all the new content but because of limited capacity it only holds about 10 shows so then we have to delete the older ones to make way for the new.
We have also got the facility of an online shop and plan to have that functioning properly in the not too distant future.
There are lots of other things in the pipeline so please spread the word that we are here and that we are growing in big lumps.
